Next Port Visit – Summer 2013

2013: Unfortunately because of Congress and the U.S. Senate not being able to pass a budget, “Sequestration” is in effect and has taken its toll and Navy Days – LA has been CANCELLED.  All port visits on the West Coast have been cancelled, all community out reach programs have been cancelled.  This includes the Blue Angel’s, Seattle Sea Fair, Portland Rose Festival, all Leap Frog events and Navy Days – LA STEM Expo for the kids.

Reservations required   (Must be at least 5 years old – groups of 8 minimum and accompanied must be accompanied by adults) Please see restrictions and what to bring below.

2013: PUBLIC TOURS of USS Navy Ships in the Port of Los  Angeles, CA - HAVE BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO SEQUESTRATION.   Let’s hope for 2014.

Restrictions: Must be minimum of 5 years old, no strollers, no bags or purses. No open toed shoes ( sandals).  Must be able to climb stairs.

What to bring:  Cameras, video cameras, cell phones with cameras OK  and cash for ship’s store items and ( bottled water if hot day)
